Musiques actuelles du Maroc

The current musics in Morocco already have a story. It started in the years 60-70. Three musicians' generations, 60, 40 and 20 years speak. They are all committed artists and under influence. They describe Morocco, land of welcome of the artists of the Whole world and and a contemporary Moroccan music which feeds on outside influences and on its rich tradition. 

Since 2012, Metisrecords participates with the team of Boultek, in the training of young Moroccan groups within the framework of the cutural season of the French Institute dedicated to the current musics. Metisrecords was able to work, for two years, with 120 musicians and thirty groups of styles different and native of all Morocco.
