Amy D

Aminata Doumbia was born in Bamako in 1982. She is noticed from the age of 8 years and participates in the artistic and cultural biennial events of Mali.

In 1998, she is located by Salif Keïta whom she will accompany on scene and with whom she will make several times the world tour. Having met the biggest artists of the scene  World (Carlos Santana, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Oumou Sangaré) Amy D dashes into a Solo career. Her album gets as much the Hip-hop as the malian traditional song. Her energy and its unstoppable grooves make of Amy D a reference of the new generation.
